Last of companys was executive selling used forest machines and ja suppling spare parts for other logging machines. After year and a half long dialog, borned new and advantageous business idea - companys changed for partners, estabilishing in the autumn 2004 joint enterprise with the intention to manufacture and market the forest machines.New enterprise carried already same name as trademark- Metsis Ltd. The partners complemented themselves well Iftar had technical solutions, Logtehnika added potential customers and provided foreign components supply. New estabilished Metsis Ltd. find himself from new, conterminously lately with European Community joined economic area. All Iftar previously developed solutions were not anymore suitable, EC validated also new additional technical requirements. After half of year intensive work hand-in-hand with components suppliers, Metsis Ltd. issued in the spring 2005 a new already in european level forestry forwarder. Special thanks for Finnish laboratory Vakola, which one tested and sertified new prototype model. New Metsis forwarder carry model number Metsis 408F and is changed a lot with predecessors. Comparing with older models , mostly well balanced frames are same, all east orign components are replaced with modern and only well known european and american brands. Again new model having a new cabin, hence already OPS,ROPS,FOPS certified. Self combined transmission is replaced with specially for forest machines by Dana made axles. Machine engine is well known finnish Sisu Diesel, operating system is Parker digital microchip controller system. For crane solutins we offer alternatively finnish made Loglift or same well known swedish made Cranab. Staring from autumn 2005 this last 408F model goes out already serially. Development continues and now wait's his order already new other models. During working session 2005/2006 we hope present new harvester and little-bit smaller forwarder. Further Metsis Ltd. marketing plans are not limited only with Estonia, big par of attitude is now directed to the other markets. Some present year machines found a place for self in Latvia and Belarus. We are open for discussions and waiting everybody "knockig to our door" ...
